Leah O'Connor

Leah is a working, professional performer based in London. Having trained in many dance styles including Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Modern, Hip Hop, Commercial, Tap. As well as dance Leah is also a trained Singer and Actress.

Training

Originally from Dublin Leah started her training at the age of 3 with Pauline Mc Grath School of ballet. She then went on to start training in musical theatre Jazz at Helen Jordan Stage school, where she booked her first professional job at age nine.

At 15 Leah took a year out from her academic studies to train at Inchicore College of further education full time professional dance corse, and then returned back to school to finish her exams where she continued to study dance, singing and drama at Atomic Stage School .

After school she went on to train at The College of Dance Dublin.

Following this Leah was awarded a Betty Laine Scholarship and went on to train at Laine Theatre Arts, for 3 years in Musical Theatre.

​

After graduating she went on to work in various parts of the industry as a dancer and a vocalist.
Most recently she has finished working on Dance 100 for Netflix, a brand new dance show.
Credits include Disney Feature Film Disenchanted, directed by Adam Shankman. Strictly Come Dancing, Ben Platt, Itv This Morning, The Voice of Ireland, Xfactor Iran, Itv Loose Women, Alan Carr, Al Murray Christmas Special.
She has also worked with artists including Ben Platt Mc Fly, Jess Glynn, Martin Garrix, Sara Alto, Sinitta and Rebecca Ferguson.
Leah has also appeared in adverts for various campaigns including for Marks and Spencer’s, Liverpool One, National Lottery, Vodafone and Sharp.

Leah is also a working dance teacher and choreographer in both the UK and Ireland for dancers from aged 3 and up.
